Bihar Topper :Siddhartha from engineering sector who scored 99.75 percentile in CAT Result,Now ready for admission in IIM
Cat results for admission in IIM were announced on Monday. This year also has a ten percent percentile of 100 students. For the first time, these two girls are also included. On November 26, 2017, 199,632 students were included in the test in 140 cities.
Siddhartha became Bihar topper
The result of the CAT-017 was released on Monday, in which a total of 20 participants across the country have scored 100 percentile. Among them, Sidhartha is Bihar topper with 99.75 percentile score. Siddharth, son of the bank officer, has done his schooling from Kapurthala in Punjab. Siddhartha has obtained B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Jaipur.
Prior to the preparation of CAT, Siddhartha’s NIT held a campus placement in Seat while studying in Jaipur. But Siddharth, who wants to pursue a career in HR and Finance, quit his job to prepare for CAT. On the other hand, students of different backgrounds have performed better this time compared to last year’s national level. This year, there are two girl students and three non-engineering background students who bring 100 percent of the top 20. Last year, all students bringing 100 percentile in the top 20 were engineers. Then, in the top 20, a student could not find a place. This year 1,99,632 participated in the examination.
Siddharth Kumar had earlier passed the Cat exam in 2016, when the 94 percentile was achieved. Siddharth was not happy with his performance, after which he decided to give the exam again. Originally from Nawada, Siddhartha has done B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 2011-15 from the National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.
