Amsterdam : The Indian men’s hockey team beat the Netherlands on Tuesday night after a 2-0 win over the series. While throwing junior players on the field, India beat the Netherlands 2-1 in the second match.
In the first match, the Indian team won the 4-3 victory over the Netherlands. The credit for India’s victory in the second match against the Netherlands goes to Gurjant Singh and Mandeep Singh. The team led by Manpreet Singh started the match well. In the fourth minute, Gurjant scored the first goal and opened the account of the Indian team.
After this, the struggle for the goal between the two teams continued in the second quarter. However, both teams could not achieve success in this. In this way, India had maintained a 1-0 lead on the positive side of their good defense on the Netherlands.
The third quarter also saw exciting encounters between the two teams. In this, the Netherlands was making every effort to return to the match, but could not succeed.

In the fourth quarter of the match, Gurjant (51st minute) scored for the Indian team and went ahead and scored a 2-0 lead. Sanders Day Vision scored for the Netherlands in the 58th minute, two minutes before the match ended, but it was not enough to win. Following the victory of the series against the Netherlands, the Indian team’s next match will be from Austria on August 16.
