The Union Agriculture Ministry has added Akshay Kumar to advertise on TV to accelerate the propaganda of agricultural schemes. The official said, “These major schemes are for the benefit of farmers. We want to create more awareness so that the farmers can take advantage of these schemes. We have taken Akshay Kumar to campaign on television for the sake of the widespread publicity of our plans. “He said that a TV advertisement on Soil Health Card is already going to be released soon. Apart from the Soil Health Card scheme, Akshay Kumar will be promoting Prime Minister’s Crop Insurance Scheme, Prime Minister Agriculture Irrigation Scheme, Prime Minister’s Agriculture Development Plan and many other schemes.
