It seems that Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Padman’ has been seen by somebody. That is why the film is facing a new set of problems after one. Earlier, the film’s release had to go ahead and then a writer accused Akshay of stealing the script and now the movie has been banned in Pakistan. Yes, the Pakistan Censor Board has banned the release of the film all over the country.
Reason for Ban
The Federal Censor Board (FCB) of Pakistan did not approve the film’s performance. FCB member Ishaq Ahmed said that we can not allow our film distributors to import such films which are against our tradition and culture. The members of the Punjab Film Censor Board of Pakistan also refused to give the film clearance certificate. One member says that we can not allow the film to be shown in the theaters on their subjects. Doing so is in our culture, society and religion.
It was supposed to be on ‘Padmaavat’
Famous filmmaker Syed Noor of Pakistan says that not only ‘Padman’ but also ‘Padmaavat’ should not be shown in Pakistan as it has presented a negative image of Muslims.
Let me tell you that this movie is getting good rapport in India. However, on the first day, the film has done less collection than expected at the box office. The theme of the menstrual hygiene has been raised in this movie of Balki. Radhika Apte and Sonam Kapoor are also in the lead role in the film.
Akshay Kumar’s film Padman was very fond of his fans. And Akshay has come to a large extent even on this expectation. But on the first day at the box office of regret, the film did not earn as expected. Yes, this movie has proved Akshay’s weakest opening film in the last 3 years.
#PadMan has a DECENT start… Fri ₹ 10.26 cr… The biz, expectedly, picked up towards evening/night shows… The journey ahead is crucial… Sat + Sun should witness strong growth for a good weekend total… India biz.
